TESLA PEOPLE – INVITATION TO COOPERATE
Dear members of the Serbian diaspora,
On the occasion of the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, the Tesla Science Foundation (Tesla People) in Philadelphia is launching a major international project dedicated to presenting the contribution of the Serbian people to the building of America.
With the participation of Serbs from around the world, we plan to create:
- a documentary film about the achievements of Serbs who made a lasting impact on American society,
- a monograph with verified archival documents, photographs, and testimonies,
- exhibitions and public lectures in cities across the U.S. and worldwide,
- and a central celebration in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy.
The most famous Serbian-American, Nikola Tesla, will serve as the symbol of this project—representing the creative spirit and dedication that Serbs have contributed to the development of America and to the good image of our nation.
We invite all Serbian organizations, individuals, historians, and descendants of Serbian immigrants to join us in collecting and documenting materials, stories, and evidence of the Serbian contribution to America’s growth and success.
Our goal is for this project to become a collective legacy of the Serbian people—a testament to our work, values, and cultural heritage woven into the very fabric of American history.
