Since July 10, 2004, when I founded the Nikola Tesla Inventors Club together with a group of Tesla enthusiasts, a journey began that formally evolved in 2010 into the Tesla Science Foundation, a U.S.-registered nonprofit organization under 501(c)(3) status. During the same period, Tesla Science Foundation Serbia was also established, with the goal of strengthening the connection between the diaspora and the homeland.
Over more than two decades, we have organized an extraordinary number of events, conferences, exhibitions, educational programs, and international initiatives. Most importantly, we have included numerous individuals, institutions, and organizations worldwide who made significant contributions to the preservation and promotion of Nikola Tesla’s legacy and the cultural and scientific heritage of Tesla’s people. These contributions were formally recognized through plaques, lapel pins, medals, awards, and the installation of busts and reliefs bearing the name of Tesla Science Foundation.
The growth of all these activities occurred far more rapidly and powerfully than originally planned. An increasing number of people and organizations around the world expressed a desire to become part of Tesla Science Foundation or to establish their own TSF chapters or Nikola Tesla Clubs. However, with the infrastructure we currently possess, it was not—and is still not—possible to adequately support and manage all these initiatives.
By studying the history of many Tesla-related organizations, as well as other institutions that once made a major contribution to the promotion of Nikola Tesla, I asked myself a critical question:
Why did some of these organizations eventually cease to exist?
In many cases, the answer was the same. Leaders who had guided these organizations for decades reached a stage in life when it became necessary to introduce younger generations, individuals who would continue the same mission while adapting it to the demands of the time. Unfortunately, that moment was often not recognized in time.
Aware of this historical lesson, I have decided to initiate a new phase in the development of Tesla Science Foundation.
For this reason, I am issuing an OPEN CALL for the following leadership positions:
- President of Tesla Science Foundation
- Presidents of Nikola Tesla Clubs
- Leadership of the program Cultural and Civic Diplomacy of Tesla’s People
- Leadership of the project Tesla’s People
- Editors-in-Chief of the portals:
- NikolaTesla.org.rs
- TeslaScienceFoundation.org
- Editorial and leadership roles for TeslaTalk.TV
Each of these projects is essential to the future work and sustainability of the organization, and each must have its own dedicated president, director, or responsible leader.
Until now, all of us have worked entirely on a volunteer basis, with minimal budgets. It is becoming increasingly clear that for the next stage of development, we urgently need a professional individual or team responsible for:
- grant writing,
- project development,
- fundraising and long-term financial sustainability.
Up to this point, private property owned by my family has largely been used as office space and operational support. For serious and sustainable future work, it is necessary to secure dedicated office space, both in the United States and in Serbia.
For each position, applicants are required to submit:
- their vision of the role,
- a proposed plan of work,
- and their approach to leadership or management of the specific project or organizational segment.
All applications and correspondence must be sent simultaneously to both email addresses:
