The new year began in a symbolic and powerful setting — New York City, at the hotel where Nikola Tesla spent the last ten years of his life. At this historic location, artists, scientists, and innovators from several countries gathered to celebrate and promote Tesla’s legacy through art, science, and technology.
Throughout the past year, applications for participation were received continuously, reflecting exceptional global interest. The most outstanding contributions were honored with the Tesla Spirit Award medals, recognizing excellence in preserving and advancing Tesla’s vision.
The program continues on February 24 in Philadelphia, where Tesla Science Foundation Day will be celebrated at the renowned Franklin Institute, in cooperation with the City of Philadelphia. Notably, on this very date in 1893, Nikola Tesla delivered one of his most important lectures at the Franklin Institute.
Later in the year, as part of preparations for the 250th anniversary of the United States, special attention will be given to presenting the contribution of the Serbian people to the building of America, with a particular focus on Nikola Tesla.
Tesla’s birthday will be marked on July 10 in Philadelphia, at Rittenhouse Square, one of the city’s most prestigious locations. Meanwhile, in Belgrade, the international conference “Tesla in Belgrade for the Fourth Time” will take place on June 1–2, accompanied by numerous cultural and educational events.
An important organizational announcement is that, as of July 15, a public call will be opened for a new President of the Tesla Science Foundation. Details and application information will be available at NikolaTesla.org.rs and TeslaScienceFoundation.org.
In parallel, TeslaTalk.TV Studio has been established in the greater Philadelphia area. From this studio, online conferences will be organized several times a month. The most distinguished speakers will be invited to present live at the New Yorker Hotel in New York in 2027.
At the same time, Nikola Tesla Clubs continue to expand worldwide, reflecting growing global interest in Tesla’s ideas and values. All these activities represent an ongoing effort in cultural and civic diplomacy inspired by Nikola Tesla, strengthening connections between communities, heritage, and innovation.
