In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 200th anniversary of Matica Srpska<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philadelphia, PA \u2013 Tesla Science Foundation (TSF) proudly announces a year-long international program for 2026, marking three major anniversaries \u2014 170 years since the birth of Nikola Tesla, 250 years of the United States, and 200 years of Matica Srpska. The initiative will highlight the cultural diplomacy and historical contributions of the Serbian\u2014Tesla people to the development of America.
Nikola Tesla, as an enduring symbol of unity between two great nations, will stand as the central figure of all TSF events planned across the United States and abroad.
Key Programs and Events
\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Educational Lecture and Presentation \u2013 \u201cThe Contribution of the Serbian\u2013Tesla People to the Development of America.\u201d
\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Documentary Film \u2013 A tribute to Serbian-American contributions to U.S. science, culture, and progress.
\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Commemorative Monograph \u2013 To be presented to distinguished individuals and institutions.
\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Medals and Pins \u2013 Featuring the celebration emblem, U.S. flag, and Nikola Tesla\u2019s image.
The central celebration will take place in New York, January 9\u201314, 2026, followed by programs throughout the year, including the February 24 commemoration of Tesla\u2019s 1893 lecture \u201cOn Light and Other High-Frequency Phenomena.\u201d
The Foundation will also organize a major international gathering July 4\u201310, 2026, in Philadelphia, at the Independence National Historical Park\u2014the birthplace of American independence\u2014where Tesla\u2019s birthday will be celebrated as a tribute to unity, innovation, and freedom.
Institutional Growth and Exhibitions
The Foundation is establishing the Nikola Tesla Science Foundation \u2013 Washington (NTSF@DC), with plans to create the first Nikola Tesla University at a U.S. institution.\u00a0
A traveling exhibition featuring 50 panels from the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, along with artistic works and experimental reconstructions, will tour various U.S. cities.
Monument and Memorial Initiatives
Planned new Tesla monuments will be placed at several locations, including:

\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Colorado Springs
\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 New York City
Call for Collaboration
TSF invites institutions, professionals, and organizations to join in the realization of these cultural, educational, and diplomatic projects.
